In case you are flying to Hawaii with United Airlines, you will likely get a chance to play the Halfway to Hawaii game.
Check out the online calculator here.

The goal is to estimate the time when the plane reaches the geographical halfway point between take off and landing.
The cockpit will give you all the necessary parameters and sometimes even more. The default prize is a box of yummy chocolate macadamia nuts. The game is pretty simple if you have a device with a calculator at hand.
With your calculated time, you are typically within 0-10 minutes of the actual time due to the changing wind conditions. Towards the end of the flight, the flight attendants will announce the actual time and the winner.
Here is what you need to do:
A – Total distance in miles
B – Speed of airplane in knots or mph
C – Wind speed
D – Time at take off
1. (A/(B+C))/2
2. Convert resulting time into hh:mm:ss format
Example:
3,234h -> 60 x 0.234 -> 14.04 -> 14.04 minutes; 60 x 0.04 -> 2.4 -> 2.4 seconds
-> 3,234h = 3h:14m:2.4s
3. Add resulting time to time at take off (D)
4. Gamble and add or subtract a few minutes, seconds
